OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF WORK:
This is an Invitation to Negotiate ITN 90-005 (“ITN”) for Snack and Alternative Product Vending Operations - vending machines and services (“Services”) to enable Florida International University (“FIU”) to enter into a five (5) year agreement with the option to
renew for two (2) additional two (2) year terms with a Vendor to provide the Services. This ITN sets forth specifications for qualified Vendors to provide proposals (the “Proposals”).
The Successful Vendor will furnish, at no cost to FIU, all of the Snack Vending
Machines, equipment, product, supplies, maintenance, labor, management and marketing necessary for the efficient and profitable operation of the snack and alternative product vending operations on FIU Campuses in the agreed upon locations.
Note, FIU will not consider any Proposal that requires the subsidizing of the operations by FIU, or a management fee type arrangement.
Vendors’ Conference and Site Visit
A PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE and SITE VISIT will be held on February 12, 2010 for the
purpose of relaying further information and for the opportunity to provide a “Question and Answers” session.
The meeting is to be held on February 12, 2010 at a time and place TBD and
posted on the Purchasing Services Website.
