REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - CONCESSION AND CATERING SERVICES FOR TTU ATHLETICS

Texas Tech University is seeking proposals for concessions operations/restaurant services/catering and athletic dining hall services agreements for the Athletic Department events located in various Texas Tech athletic venues. The scope shall also include a proposal from the vendor to assist in the build-out of the kitchen and serving areas of the East side of the Jones AT&T stadium which is currently under construction. The scope of the proposal includes: • All food and beverage concessions at Texas Tech Athletics events in Texas Tech Athletic facilities • Catering services for suites and club seat areas in Jones AT&T Stadium • Catering services for all suites in United Spirit Arena • Operation of a full restaurant/private membership club on the east side of Jones AT&T stadium • Operation of Athletics Dining Hall in the press level (or any future location) on the west side of Jones AT&T stadium. Sealed Request for Proposals (RFP) for Concession and Catering Services will be received electronically at techbid.ttu.edu. Electronic submission is the preferred method. For proposers needing to submit by mail/delivery, please submit to Jennifer Adling, Purchasing & Contracting Office, Texas Tech University, 15th & University, 347 Drane Hall, Box 41094, Lubbock, Texas 79409-1094 until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2010. The proposer must show the name and address of proposer with the notation “Texas Tech University - Concession and Catering Services” clearly marked on the face of the sealed envelope. Subsequently, proposals will be publicly identified and logged into the TechBid website. Any proposal received after the proposal opening time and date (by either submission method) will be rejected as material failure. Answers to all proposer questions that are deemed not answered in the proposal specifications will be answered in the form of addenda posted on the Texas Tech Electronic bidding (TechBid) and Texas Marketplace websites. TechBid: techbid.ttu.edu TechBid is the new electronic bidding system that Texas Tech University now uses. Companies are strongly encouraged to log in and register so that they may respond to this and all future Requests released by TTU. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all sealed proposals and to waive any or all formalities.
