In accordance with Education Code 51.9335, the University of North Texas, subsequently referred to as UNT, is accepting proposals and intends to enter into an agreement with vendors that specialize in athletic apparel and equipment in accordance with the terms and conditions and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal. The resulting pricing, terms and conditions shall be extended to the University of North Texas (UNT), the University of North Texas System (UNT System), the University of North Texas Health and Science Center (UNTHSC) and any other institutions of higher education interested in utilizing the agreement, as allowed by the Texas Education Code. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit multiple sources of supply and establish a term contract, at firm educational discount prices, for the purchase and delivery, on an “as needed” basis, of athletic and physical education equipment, supplies, and uniforms. It is the intent of this contract to document the terms of purchase for each Respondent, and to secure the most favorable discount rates and freight terms available.Respondent shall provide all product and services that are necessary for the proper execution and performance of the contract. All activities relating to the execution of this contract will be initiated and coordinated by designated personnel at UNT.
